If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a closet full of old baby gear. Some I plan to giveaway and some is just unsalvageable. What to do with it all? Well, now there is a solution. As seen on the Today Show, Baby Earth is offering to take that old baby gear off your hands and out of the landfills. You pay for the shipping costs and Baby Earth will dismantle every little piece for recycling.
Here’s a quick little recipe for natural baby bum balm to help prevent and sooth diaper rash.
Ingredients:
1oz shea butter
1/2 oz. sweet almond oil
1/2 oz. rice bran oil
Instructions:
Melt shea butter and add remaining oils. When slightly cool, whip with mixer or hand blender until smooth and well-incorporated. Choose unscented or add a small amount of lavender oil (1-2 drops) for scent and antibacterial properties.
Don’t throw away ripped or stained clothing again! Iron on this fun appliqué popsicle patch instead. It’s also a great way to customize those plain white onsies. Super quick and easy to apply. No sewing – yippee!

Just wanted to give a shout out to the Real Canadian Superstore! Finally, a store to take the plunge and rid us of those pesky grocery bags. Obviously, they wouldn’t do it if it meant losing a buck. We all know that there is an increasing demand for anything green these days. Well, they got me hook, line and sinker! They now have an entire isle dedicated to whole foods. Oh, and the baby and kids clothes are just too CUTE! Not only are the fashions affordable but many of the newborn clothing items are organic!
