A federal judge has upheld the congressional ban barring stores from selling toys and other childcare products that contain phthalates. Phthalates are a chemical that softens plastics and can be absorbed through the mouth or skin, interfering with reproductive hormones. The ban goes into effect on February 10th. Read article >
